I never thought I'd see my computer tell me it was out of disk space after I bought the 250 GB hard drive. Either I have too much stuff, or I need to figure out how to get mass storage in my computer. The biggest thing I've seen on the market is an external drive for 1.3 TBs. That's read as Terrabytes. Which is 1028 Gigabytes. That's a lot. Anyway, but it's around a thousand bucks. Like I'm going to buy that for the stupid things I need to store. Still though I dream of the day when I can buy several thousand Yottabytes for a few dollars. (A Yottabyte is a million Exabytes and an Exabyte is a million Terrabytes and then there are measurements in the middle for the thousands). ANYway, not to bore you, but I need more disk space and that's what this entry is about. If only I could get my hands on a Star Trek computer which uses something called Kiloquads to store information. I wonder how many trillions of Terabytes that is?
