I have been attempting to create my own 3D game using an Open Source Engine that I have downloaded and started programming around. Let me tell you, even if you have a 3D engine, it's just the beginning. It's very difficult to work with it and make it do what you want. I remember "back in the day" when I was making 2D games in DOS. The only hard part of that was the 640K limit in RAM that you couldn't get around unless you had a DOS extender. Those were easy. I've made plenty of 2D games (that were worthless). I shall keep plugging away. My dream is to start posting pictures of a real game on here one day. If I've totally lost you with the above, please attain a Computer Science degree or never leave home without a computer geek. I suggest that last part since all geeks just want to be loved...and sexed.
